Faustina Hockey Equipment Swap

Faustina hockey is hosting this equipment swap in order to try to keep the costs of equipment to a minimum for families. 

This is an opportunity to donate equipment for other families to use, while you can pick up equipment left by others.  Take some time to go through your hockey equipment to see what fits and what has been outgrown.  Then get it ready to be re-used.  

The equipment swap is free to all Faustina families.  There is no money exchanged nor a guarantee of one for one pieces of equipment.  The honour system is being used.  If you wish to sell your equipment instead of donating it, please check out our friends at Play It Again Sports or see Marketplace/Kijiji.

Dates and Times: 
Donated Equipment Drop Off: (donate gear): Monday June 16th from 5pm-8pm (Ford Performance Centre Rink#3)  

Equipment Pick Up (find new gear):  Tuesday June 17th (Ford Performance Centre Rink#3)  
a) 5pm – 6:30 for slip holders that donated equipment + first time Faustina House League registrants 
b) 6:30pm-8pm: Open to all registered families to look for equipment (even if you didn’t donate equipment) 

Please try to be respectful of the guidelines below:

• Try to wash and air-dry the equipment, if possible, before dropping off.
• Drop off used but re-usable equipment.  We don’t want to have to discard your beloved equipment from when you were a child!
• You will be given a slip indicating that you donated equipment. 
• Please bring this slip back on the equipment pick-up day since you will be given priority.
• Please pick up for your own family only.
• Please be respectful of how much equipment you dropped off versus how much equipment you pick up.  You can always wait until the end of the pick-up evening to select more.

All unused equipment will be either donated, used for our own emergency supply, or discarded.  We don’t want to add to landfill!!
